I Don't Do Cardio...

Hello from the Great White North!

They don't call it the Great White North for no reason, we still have snow people! It's supposed to warm up later this week, but it has been quite the adventure! Haha

My first adventure was with Sister G on exchanges! People, I struggle with the bus system....... Haha we got lost! Again! This is such a common occurrence for me! We were hopping from bus stop to bus stop trying to get to a certain part of our area. It totally worked out though! Heavenly Father used my weakness to help us meet a ton of great people! We were able to talk to one of the bus drivers about his experience with missionaries! He says he talks to all the missionaries that come on his bus, and so we invited him to learn more about why all of us are out here, but he politely declined. We were able to have dinner with Sister G's recent convert who had moved into our area! His name is M, and he's such a good man. He still struggles a bit with the Word of Wisdom, but he faithfully attends church. His parents and sister were there with us at dinner, and he had a great conversation about how they have been able to find faith. One day they will listen! Haha

A cool miracle we saw this week was while we were waiting for the bus! It was Friday when it was snowing like crazy! We were running so so late for an appointment because all of the buses were late. While we were waiting, I look over and see a woman that looks really familiar to me. I assumed I probably had met her on a bus or LRT at some point. So I go over and start talking to her. She said I looked really familiar too! As we started talking, we realized that we had never even met. But she knew Sister A and Sister Sch! They had found her outside of her house, and she had taken one of the lessons, but then got busy and stopped answering the door. I was able to get her phone number, and she said she would be willing to have the sisters over again. Heavenly Father is so so aware of all of us! And it amazes me that he can even help people seem familiar just so we will talk to them. And it also made me realize just how vital it is to be worthy of the Spirit. There were at least 20 people at that bus stop, and I would have had no idea who to talk to without the guidance of the Spirit. It was an experience I will never forget.

Another super cool story. We were at home and went to leave to catch the bus. We looked at what time it was coming, and it was 4 minutes away! We live about a 10 minute walk to the bus stop, so we SPRINTED the whole way there! First miracle, we made the bus. It was pulling away as we rounded the corner and Sister H waved her arms like a crazy person and he saw and waited! Miracle! I'm so surprised I didn't pass out! I'm so out of shape! haha When we got to the church Sister H looked down and her name tag was gone. That is also a miracle that she noticed so quickly that her tag was gone so we wouldn't have to back track too much to find it. When we had about 15 minutes left until 9 we went and retraced our steps. We got all the way from our house to the bus stop and didn't see it. We looked around a bit and no luck. Defeated, we started to walk back, and Sister H saw the back magnet part! Hope! So with more motivation, we continued looking. While walking around we met a lady named Ch. She kind of gave us a cold shoulder and didn't want to talk to us too much, so we just decided we need to look around anyways, fine we won't talk to you. It was now about 9:05, so we decided we better just go back. When we were about half way home, it just hit Sister Hill that EVERYTHING happens for a reason, including losing her name tag. Ch was the only thing she could think of so she turns to me and says, "I'm going to invite Ch to church!" Haha So we turned around and headed back. She was pretty frustrated at this point and so when she got to her, she just said "Ch, I met you for a reason tonight and that means something. Will you come to church tomorrow?" She agreed and seemed kind of happy about it. She was pretty shocked so she said goodbye again and when she turned around,THERE WAS HER NAME TAG just sitting in a little pile of snow. OH MY GOODNESS. Sister H and I just started laughing and crying and screaming. It was sooo cool! Heavenly Father is so amazing again!!!

On the funny side of things, we were in an LRT station the other night trying to figure out what we needed to do. We had an awkward amount of time before we needed to be home, and we had no clue what we should do. So we were praying, when all of a sudden, this guy just yells, "what are you girls doing??" I look over, and this guy is higher than a kite! Hahaha so we tell him that we're missionaries who teach people about Jesus Christ. His next question just blew me away, "do you do drugs?" Hahah dude! We literally just said we teach people about Jesus Christ! So then I let him no that no we don't do that, and Jesus doesn't like it that he does it either. He just gave us a funny look, and then we went on our way. Hahaha I am not in Cherry Grove anymore! There are some pretty crazy people around here! Thank goodness for the Holy Ghost!

Well everyone, I think I have mentioned this every single week. Hahaha but I am constantly amazed that God can keep track of each of us, and that He is so aware of us! We have no clue what is in store for our lives, but I can guarantee that everything will be exactly what He needs it to be. I am so grateful to be able to play a role in the lives of those who live here! It's truly an honor and blessing.

Have a fantastic week everyone! I love you!!
