What a glorious weekend it was! The weather is slowly starting to
improve, and the miracles are still flowing! I absolutely love being a
traveling sister. The sisters of this mission are fantastic, and I
love being able to interact with so many of the them in such a short
amount of time. Since Friday, I've been in 3 different areas with 5
different sisters! Here are some of the adventures we had.
Saturday- Family Reunion!!
I got to go back to Rutherford with Sister W and Sister D!
In mission terms, my "daughter" and "granddaughter!" What a blast! I
love both of those sisters so much. If you combine how long they both
have been out, it's not even 4 months! But you wouldn't even know it
when it comes to the work, they are killing it! We were able to go and
teach M, which was such a fun surprise! Watching them teach made
me feel like such a proud mama and grandma! Haha they are incredible
teachers and they work so hard. We were able to teach one of their
investigator's friends, and he loved the Plan of Salvation! They are
doing wonderful things.
I had a blast with Sister K in Tofield and Vegreville. It was
first time attending a branch! So cool, there is such a family vibe
there. We were able to teach one of their investigators, G! He's a
pesky guy sometimes, but by the end, he said he would come to church!
Monday- Rainbow Valley YSA
My first ever YSA experience! What blast! We were able to teach four
lessons together. But real talk people! I'm going to be the most
awkward RM!! We had supper at a house full of single, returned
missionaries. The mission goggles are so real, can't tell if they are
cute or not, but oh my goodness! I was so awkward! I was stumbling
over my words, I could barely make eye contact.... I'm so toast....
hahah thank goodness it's not over yet!
Life is so great. For real, I could not ask for anything better. As I
sat in the temple this morning, I could feel a confirming witness that
I've done what the Lord wants me to do. It's not quite over, but it
felt amazing to know that what I've done is pleasing to Heavenly
Father. I hope each of you have a great week! I love you!
